Directed by Sofia Bohdanowicz, and shot by cinematographer Nikolay Michaylov, “Measures for a Funeral” is a about a student named Audrey Benac who is on a research odyssey of ghostly possession in which she endeavors to restore the legacy of the forgotten Canadian violinist Kathleen Parlow. The film blends fact with fiction as the narrative draws from Bohdanowicz’s own family history and ultimately incorporates a real-life staging of “Opus 28” - a concerto that, up until the filming of it, had never been performed in Canada.

ARRI highlight's ATILLA on Instagram
"While filming ‘Attila’ we relied on the exceptional dynamic range that AMIRA had to offer while shooting in the most unpredictable and often unfavorable situations. The ergonomic form factor lent itself to the verité style of film we were making, often run-and-gun shooting, and the intuitive UX design allowed for Jordan, Stephen, and I to utilize the camera between ourselves without any hiccups. The AMIRA’s ALEV 3 sensor makes it one of the best choices for documentary capture. It’s hard to imagine shooting this film with any other camera.” -- DP Nikolay Michaylov
